The second in three drawings of the same girl, and my definite favorite. On this one and the next I did the inking, not Rin-chan. No cool letters on this, and I know it's very hard to read and stands out from the picture. Perhaps someday I'll get around to making these letters shiny. More importantly, I'm actually proud of this poem. It may not make all that much sense but it's pretty, I think. Its main theme if you cannot tell is both disguised wickedness and corruption of purity. It wasn't written for the drawing (the first verse randomly popped into my head and I worked it out til finished) but it seemed to fit.
Again, this has got to be my favorite. I could have paid more attention to the detail, sure, but the final product is a nice one, and the inconsistency I think is kind of cute. The one thing I really don't like about this drawing is her knees.
While mostly only from my demented little mind, the style of the skirt and its roundness is based on an AWESOME lolita dress I saw. I remembered how cool it was and decided to try it myself in a picture.
The words to this poem are ((* I forgot to write "crooked" in but it belongs there)):
What is it that doth transpire
Between the sweetness that conspires
To blacken rotting with its mirth
And give evil dulce its birth
And the heart that understandably so
Is coated with that mirth, and lo
Without resistance soon must yield
What is it that doth produce
To climb around the angel's noose
Ah me, but angels' smiles crooked* be
And what can say what hallowed eyes see
And travel the fingers wrought for blood
To decorate the spring-ripe bud
And force it all awry
What is it that doth bestow
And feed such wicked vine below
Whose reddest flowers drip with passion
To slowly putrefy purity's bastion
Seeping color unto snow-white petal
Turning lily into nettle
Showing no good recourse
What is it that doth raze
All sane into sugared craze
Drive the precious stainless
With the promise of the painless
Nothing felt, o cursed price
Withered virtue could not suffice
But to steal the very sentience
